Joint Commission International Accreditation

Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation is an evaluation model which has been internationally accepted and has the highest recognition. It performs independent assessment audits to determine whether the health organizations meet the standard requirements that have been introduced to increase the care quality of healthcare organizations. It has accrediated more than 800 health institutions in 68 countries. JCI standards address the topics like patient safety targets, accessing care and continuity of care, rights of patients and their relatives, evaluation and care of patients, anaesthesia and surgical care, use of medicines, training of patients and their relatives under patient-oriented standards. The healthcare institution also addresses improving quality and patient safety, preventing and controlling infections, management, leadership and guidance, facility management and safety, qualifications and training of employees and information management under management standards. ACIBADEM Adana Hospital, one of the hospitals of ACIBADEM Healthcare Group, was granted the Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation on September 25, 2010, while ACIBADEM Maslak Hospital was accredited on October 2, 2010.
