Joint Commission International Accreditation
Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation is an internationally accepted assessment model with the highest recognition. It conducts independent assessment audits to determine whether a set of standard requirements designed to improve the quality of care of healthcare organizations are satisfied. Today, more than 800 health institutions in 69 countries have accredited. JCI standards address issues of patient safety under the heading of patient-based standards, the accessibility of care continuity of care, the rights of patients and their relatives, the evaluation and care of patients, anaesthesia and surgical care, medicine use, and patient and relatives education. Within the context of healthcare institution management standards, quality improvement and patient safety, prevention and control of infections, management, leadership and guidance, facility management and safety, employee quality and training, and knowledge management cases are assessed. As of 25 September 2010, Acıbadem Healthcare Group’s Acıbadem Adana Hospital and as of 2 October 2010, Acıbadem Maslak Hospital possesses Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation.

Laboratory Accreditation and Certifications
Acıbadem Labmed Clinical Laboratory has been accredited by DACH (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle Chemie) as per TS EN ISO 15189 standard as of 20 October 2005 and became the first clinical laboratory of Turkey to have TS EN ISO 15189 accreditation. Has been re-accredited by TÜRKAK as per TS EN ISO 15189 standard and became the first clinical laboratory to be accredited by TURKAK in accordance with TS EN ISO 15189 standard, effective as of 19/10/2010.
Acıbadem Labmed Clinical Laboratory was re-accredited by TÜRKAK in 2014 as per TS EN ISO 15189 standard and became the first clinical laboratory of Turkey to be accredited by TÜRKAK in accordance with TS EN ISO 15189 standard with flexible scope, effective as of 10 January 2017.
With the reason that it is a party to the Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA) between TÜRKAK and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation); accreditation of laboratories has become recognized in all ILAC member countries.
Acıbadem Labgen Genetic Diagnosis Centre was accredited by TÜRKAK as per TS EN ISO 15189 standard effective as of 10 January 2017.
Acıbadem Labvital Special Food Control Laboratory was accredited by TURKAK as per TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard effective as of 11 September 2013.
Acıbadem Labmed Ankara Tissue Typing Laboratory has been the first tissue typing laboratory in Turkey to have ASHI accreditation, by being accredited by the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), effective as of 09.01.2015.
European Accreditation for Nuclear Medicine
Acıbadem Bursa Hospital has been accredited by the European Board of Nuclear Medicine (EBNM) of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), which accredits Nuclear Medicine Centres in Europe.
ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification
Acıbadem Mobile Healthcare Services possesses the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate, which defines the conditions to be applied during the establishment of quality management systems and is subject to certification audit. Acıbadem Mobile has successfully completed the second audit on 8 April 2016 and renewed its Quality Management System Certificate.
APlus Hospital and Hotel Services has ISO 9001 Quality Management System certificate as of 21 April 2017, in order to provide standardization in production and operation processes in every point it provides service. In line with the standards, every product is kept under the supervision of the critical control points starting from the goods acceptance stage until consumption and the quality of the personnel is increased by ongoing education, and awareness is kept alive by daily, weekly and monthly audits.
Acıbadem Kadıköy Hospital, Acıbadem Kozyatağı Hospital, Acıbadem Bursa Hospital and Acıbadem International Hospital Nuclear Medicine Departments possess the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate.
ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System Certification
At every point APlus provides service, in order to ensure superior service delivery, system integrity and sustainability at world standards; each product is examined in terms of quality control criteria according to its product group starting from the goods acceptance stage to consuming, as per ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management. In APLUS’s central and satellite warehouses, the storage standards required by food safety and FIFO (First in first out), which facilitates stock and shelf life control, are implemented.
RAL-GZ 992 Certification
The clothes washed and packed in the APlus Laundry Factory are delivered to the relevant location and the hospital from the factory, untouched by human hands. Every step of the transfer process performed with the principle of transporting the clean and dirty textile separately, is monitored and reported with the vehicle tracking system. The processes carried out with the full automation system have been standardized by RAL – GZ 992 Professional Fabric Care Quality and Test Specifications APlus’s management systems are certified by accredited certification entities, while laundry standards are certified by the international Frschungsinstitut Hohenstein Institute. RAL- GZ 992 Professional Fabric Care Quality and Test Specifications are implemented. As a first in Turkey, the textiles are washed with the bas system and packed by getting ironed and folded with full automation system.
Ministry of Health Quality Standards Assessments of Health
